Nvidia shield tv wont download apps

Nvidia Shield app - wont direct play any IPTV stream - posted in Android TV / Fire TV: I have an IPTV provider that I can choose to use ts or m3u8 with. I have tried both formats and no matter what I do I cant get the Emby app to direct play on my Shield TV. It will direct play on my iOS devices and windows devices. No matter what I do it has to remux on the Shield.
